When I decided to move back to the “city” I was lucky enough to work with Marlene both selling the property I had and in purchasing my new house. The house that I wanted to sell was on some acreage and I knew that it would take some time to sell. My goal was to get moved before my daughter started her first year of college. Luckily, I found myself in the enviable position of having multiple offers, but which one to take?? Marlene gave excellent guidance in working through which offer was the best one to take. And when the buyers and their agent became “difficult” in their demands, Marlene’s people skills and experience helped navigate those turbulent waters. Everything worked out beautifully. So, one major hurdle down and one to go. Now we had to find a new house. Looking for new houses became very frustrating because no sooner was a house listed then it was sold!! Houses were selling like hot cakes! Time was getting short and I needed to find a house to move in to since I had sold my other house. Marlene constantly scoured the MLS listing looking for a house that would fit my needs. One evening she told me about a house that was just coming on the market and it looked perfect! We needed to get a look at this house quickly before it got snatched up! Unfortunately Marlene had shattered her wrist and was scheduled for surgery the next day. But she scheduled an appointment for us to look at the house early the next morning. So wrist properly braced and contracts prepared (so sure was she that the house was “The One”), Marlene drove 30 minutes to show me the new house. And it was perfect! We signed on the dotted line and she went off to surgery. Now that’s dedication. I believe that not only does Marlene Stone have the experience and the professionalism required to be an excellent real estate agent, but she truly has her client’s best interests at heart. Her honesty and integrity are above reproach. If you are looking to buy or sell a home in the DFW area, you could do no better than having Marlene Stone as your realtor.
